  1.                Whats NEW with LOGPlus! Version 3.03
  2.                ====================================
  3.    These changes have NOT be incorporated in the current manual.
  4.  
  5.    1>  Bug fixed in logbook management section.  When (N)ext or
  6.    (P)revious selected during logging, windowing would be skewed
  7.    causing difficulties reading screen.
  8.  
  9.    2>  2 QSO Labels w/Mgr was not printing correctly.
  10.  
  11.    3>  Logbook Browse/Modify.  When selecting save to QSL database,
  12.    logbook QSL field and QSL date would not be updated.
  13.  
  14.    4>  IOTA Printing would print more than it should.
  15.  
  16.    5>  Reports that CT v8/9 would not convert frequency correctly.
  17.    This problem is related to the radio control.  A new switch
  18.    has been added which you have the option to selecting "YN"
  19.    to radio control.  In addition, the RST during the SS would
  20.    convert the check rather than the mode.

  22.    New features
  23.    ============
  24.    1>  ALT_F Frequency/Mode modification added to logbook management
  25.    section.  Anytime during logging you can now use ALT_F to change
  26.    the frequency or mode.
  27.  
  28.    2>  Hot QSL printing added to logbook browse/modify section. You
  29.    must first select the style of label under the QSL card section.
  30.  
  31.    3>  Russian Oblast display (ALT_O) added to logging module.
  32.  
  33.    4>  Note file editing now available in logbook browse/modify.
  34.    Whenever a NOTEPAD entry for a call is found, the callsign in
  35.    the upper right corner will start to flash.  You can then bring
  36.    up the NOTEPAD by pressing ALT_N.

  38.    5>  A new DXCC and WAZ Statistics screen has been added to the
  39.    Dumb Terminal Module.  When a spot is reported, press ALT_N will
  40.    display the full statistical data for the particular DXCC country.

  42.    6>  You now have the option of saving all contest QSOs to one of
  43.    the three QSL card databases after importing.  QSL field in logbook
  44.    will be appended with the appropriate data.  NOTE:  This does NOT
  45.    have any effect on the QSL options under the program parameter
  46.    defaults.

  48.    7>  Logbook Refresh is 10,000% faster.  This section was extremely
  49.    slow.

  51.    8>  A new printing routine has been added to the DXCC menu. D> O> C>.
  52.    C> Band/Mode Country Statistics will print out a complete listing
  53.    of countries in prefix order.  The format:
  54.                          160    80     40  etc...
  55.          Prefix  CSRM   CSRM   CSRM   CSRM etc...
  56.            4X    AA A          CWCC   ACCA etc...

  58.          where CSRM = CW, SSB, RTTY, MIX
  59.                   A = ARRL Approved
  60.                   C = Confirmed
  61.                   W = Worked

  63.    The printout consists of 16 pages with 25 countries on each page.

  65.    9>  DX Alert Bulletins has been modified.  The following new
  66.    features are now available.

  68.          a> Can now be called up from the logbook by pressing ALT_E
  69.          You will only have access to ALL records.

  71.          b> New sort keys have been added which will allow you to
  72.          display data in various ways:
  73.                ALT_F6 = DX Order
  74.                ALT_F7 = Date Order
  75.                ALT_F8 = Time Order
  76.                ALT_F9 = Freq Order

  78.    NOTE: YOU MUST RE-INDEX YOUR DXCC DATABASES.  THIS CAN BE DONE
  79.    BY A GLOBAL INDEX OR BY SELECTING INDEX UNDER THE DXCC MENU.

  81.    10>  A new GRID DISPLAY has been added to the logging and vucc
  82.    menus.  Under the logging & dump terminal module you can press 
  83.    ALT_G.  Under the vucc menu new options H> and I> have been added.
  84.    Other menu items have been moved downwards.

  86.          a>  You must first insure your VUCC files are updated.
  87.  
  88.          b>  Run the Quick Look Update.  This is MANDATORY to
  89.          display proper information.  You should run the update
  90.          each time you conduct a auto update or manually update
  91.          grids.

  93.          c>  Under the logging & dump terminal modules, I've added
  94.          a pop up menu which will allow the operator to select between
  95.          4 different grid features.

  98.                B> GRID to GRID Distance/Azimuth
  99.                C> GRID to POSN Conversion
  100.                D> POSN to GRID Conversion

  107.    11> The PacketCluster auto save feature (ALT_F2) has a new
  108.    feature which alerts the user when the database contains over
  109.    300 QSOs.  Some users monitor the packet screen and NEVER
  110.    delete the records held in the PACKET.DBF file.  This can result
  111.    in wasted disk space which can be claimed by the user.
  112.    To alert the operator that over 300 QSOs exist in the file,
  113.    the program will now display the actual number of QSOs OVER
  114.    300 next to the SAT field.
