Whats NEW with LOGPlus! Version 3.03
====================================
These changes have NOT be incorporated in the current manual.
1> Bug fixed in logbook management section. When (N)ext or
(P)revious selected during logging, windowing would be skewed
causing difficulties reading screen.
2> 2 QSO Labels w/Mgr was not printing correctly.
3> Logbook Browse/Modify. When selecting save to QSL database,
logbook QSL field and QSL date would not be updated.
4> IOTA Printing would print more than it should.
5> Reports that CT v8/9 would not convert frequency correctly.
This problem is related to the radio control. A new switch
has been added which you have the option to selecting "YN"
to radio control. In addition, the RST during the SS would
convert the check rather than the mode.
New features
============
1> ALT_F Frequency/Mode modification added to logbook management
section. Anytime during logging you can now use ALT_F to change
the frequency or mode.
2> Hot QSL printing added to logbook browse/modify section. You
must first select the style of label under the QSL card section.
3> Russian Oblast display (ALT_O) added to logging module.
4> Note file editing now available in logbook browse/modify.
Whenever a NOTEPAD entry for a call is found, the callsign in
the upper right corner will start to flash. You can then bring
up the NOTEPAD by pressing ALT_N.
5> A new DXCC and WAZ Statistics screen has been added to the
Dumb Terminal Module. When a spot is reported, press ALT_N will
display the full statistical data for the particular DXCC country.
6> You now have the option of saving all contest QSOs to one of
the three QSL card databases after importing. QSL field in logbook
will be appended with the appropriate data. NOTE: This does NOT
have any effect on the QSL options under the program parameter
defaults.
7> Logbook Refresh is 10,000% faster. This section was extremely
slow.
8> A new printing routine has been added to the DXCC menu. D> O> C>.
C> Band/Mode Country Statistics will print out a complete listing
of countries in prefix order. The format:
160 80 40 etc...
Prefix CSRM CSRM CSRM CSRM etc...
4X AA A CWCC ACCA etc...
where CSRM = CW, SSB, RTTY, MIX
A = ARRL Approved
C = Confirmed
W = Worked
The printout consists of 16 pages with 25 countries on each page.
9> DX Alert Bulletins has been modified. The following new
features are now available.
a> Can now be called up from the logbook by pressing ALT_E
You will only have access to ALL records.
b> New sort keys have been added which will allow you to
display data in various ways:
ALT_F6 = DX Order
ALT_F7 = Date Order
ALT_F8 = Time Order
ALT_F9 = Freq Order
NOTE: YOU MUST RE-INDEX YOUR DXCC DATABASES. THIS CAN BE DONE
BY A GLOBAL INDEX OR BY SELECTING INDEX UNDER THE DXCC MENU.
10> A new GRID DISPLAY has been added to the logging and vucc
menus. Under the logging & dump terminal module you can press
ALT_G. Under the vucc menu new options H> and I> have been added.
Other menu items have been moved downwards.
a> You must first insure your VUCC files are updated.
b> Run the Quick Look Update. This is MANDATORY to
display proper information. You should run the update
each time you conduct a auto update or manually update
grids.
c> Under the logging & dump terminal modules, I've added
a pop up menu which will allow the operator to select between
4 different grid features.
A> GRID Quick Look Display
B> GRID to GRID Distance/Azimuth
C> GRID to POSN Conversion
D> POSN to GRID Conversion
B> C> & D> can be found under the VUCC menu also.
NOTE: YOU MUST RE-INDEX YOUR VUCC DATABASES. THIS CAN BE DONE
BY A GLOBAL INDEX OR BY SELECTING INDEX UNDER THE VUCC MENU.
11> The PacketCluster auto save feature (ALT_F2) has a new
feature which alerts the user when the database contains over
300 QSOs. Some users monitor the packet screen and NEVER
delete the records held in the PACKET.DBF file. This can result
in wasted disk space which can be claimed by the user.
To alert the operator that over 300 QSOs exist in the file,
the program will now display the actual number of QSOs OVER
300 next to the SAT field.
